Meet Sarah
I am an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with years of experience supporting children in both public school and private clinical settings.
I have helped countless children develop the communication skills they need to succeed in the classroom by using evidence-based practices and collaborating with families and other professionals.
I am passionate about augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to expand language opportunities for children who are nonverbal or have language delays. I use neurodiversity affirming approaches to provide individualized support while also recognizing each child's unique strengths.
I am also dedicated to helping young adults in high school transition to the workforce by targeting functional speech and language skills.
Approach
Clinical decisions are grounded in evidence-based practices and adapted to each child's needs.
Support is individualized while recognizing and respecting each child's unique strengths and communication style.
Families and other professionals are partners in helping communication skills carry across settings.
Goals emphasize skills children can use in the classroom, at home, with peers, and as they move toward greater independence.
